City cop shot dead in gz’bad

Delhi police constable has been shot dead by unidentified persons in Loni town of the district, the police said on Friday.

Upender, who was in the town to celebrate Diwali with his his sister and brother-in-law, was shot in the neck by some unidentified persons Thursday night in Khanna colony.
He was rushed to GTB Hospital where he died during treatment, the police said. The body for has been sent for post-mortem.
Upender got married in February and his father is a sub-inspector of police in Mathura. — PTI
