Bus operator among 2 held for killing ‘extortionist’
The special cell of Delhi police has arrested two men in connection with a murder in Ranhola, West Delhi. The deceased Kuldeep, alias Leela, used to extort money from the accused for running a Gramin Sewa bus in West Delhi, the police said.
The accused have been identified as Arif, alias Raju, and Sher Khan. Kuldeep had gone to Ranhola with his two friends.
“When Kuldeep went to meet Arif, he was surrounded by him and his friends Sher Khan and Shahrukh. They beat up Kuldeep and shot him dead,” said the police official.
The police got a tip-off that Arif and Sher Khan would be coming near Sarai Kale Khan and arrested both in a raid.
“They revealed that they were running a Gramin Sewa bus in Uttam Nagar. Kuldeep was extorting money from them for running the vehicle. Arif and Sher Khan then hatched a plan to eliminate him. Shahrukh was also involved,” said the official.
