6 arrested for robbing Pak man
The police has arrested six persons who allegedly robbed a Pakistan national. A senior police official said the accused Asif, Mohammed Shahid, Nooruddin, Muzahir, Mohammed Nazir and Asaru, alias Nazeer, had kidnapped a 70-year-old Pakistan national after drugging him and robbed his valuables.
The victim Muhammad Nabi, a native of Karachi, Pakistan, came to India on July 1 to meet his relatives after a gap of 40 years.
“He had to go to Muradabad, UP. Nabi reached ISBT to board a bus to UP. Meanwhile, a person befriended him and made him sit in an autorickshaw driven by his associate. On the way they offered him drink laced with sedative. When he fell unconscious, the accused stole his belongings and dumped him near Ghazipur.
