5th cut-off out, few seats remain
Delhi University released its fifth cut-off list for the newly-introduces four-year undergraduate course on Wednesday as most of the colleges closed admissions in different courses though quite surprisingly seats in commerce are still open for students in 21 colleges but with minimum cut-offs set above 90 per cent.
Seats in commerce are available in Colleges of Vocational Studies (92.75-96), Daulat Ram (94.5), Hans Raj (96.5-98), Kirori Mal (96.24), Kamla Nehru College (93.25-98), Moti Lal Nehru (92-99) and Gargi College (94-97).
Seats in economics are also still available in Deen Dayal Upadhyay (94.25) Hindu (96.5), Maitreyi (91.5), Shivaji (93.5) and Vivekananda (86.75) colleges.
Many colleges have closed admissions in science courses but some seats are still open at Moti Lal Nehru, Miranda House, SGTB Khalsa in physics and chemistry.
Kirori Mal College has pegged the cut-off for physics at 93.33 per cent, chemistry at 91.99 per cent, mathematics at 93.99 per cent and statistics at 94.74 per cent.
There are no seats for general category students in science courses and B.Tech. programmes in most colleges.
Only Hansraj College and Keshav Mahavidyalaya have some seats left for students of general category for B.Tech. in computer science.
Other colleges offering the B.Tech. programme have few seats left for students of reserved categories.
Admissions in English (Hons) are also closed in most colleges with Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma, Daulat Ram, Kirori Mal and I.P. College being the exceptions.
