According to the police, the incident came to light when the woman reported the matter to the Mehrauli police late Thursday night. She told the police that, following differences with her husband, a resident of Fatehpuri in Mehrauli, she had been living with her brother in Ward No. 6 of Mehrauli for the past some time.
On Thursday night, she had an altercation with her brother over some issue following which she decided to leave his house in the night itself.
