4-yr-old among 2 killed in mishaps

Two persons, including a four-year-old, were crushed to death in two separate road accidents in the city on Tuesday.

According to the reports, the first incident took place in Bawana area of Outer Delhi where a four-year-old UKG student was crushed to death by his school bus.
A senior police official said the deceased was identified as Shivam, a resident of Daryapur. He studied with Vidya Jyoti Siksha Sadan.
“At around 2 pm, his school bus arrived near Daryapur crossing. The conductor of the bus alighted children. Shivam with other started running in front of the school bus. Meanwhile, the driver of the bus accelerated and hit Shivam from behind. He died on the spot,” said the police official. The bus was impounded and the errant driver was arrested from the spot.
In another incident, a biker was crushed to death by a speeding truck in Sun Light Colony area of southeast Delhi. A senior police official said the deceased was identified as Sarvar, a resident of R.K. Puram area.
