4 arrested for robbing van of mobiles
Four persons, allegedly involved in the robbery of a van carrying mobile phones that was reported from Paschim Vihar in west Delhi on February 1, have been arrested by the crime branch of the Delhi police. The police has recovered 57 cartons having more than 2,850 cellular phones, valued at over `1 crore, from the accused. According to
the police, three persons — Dharmender (26), Sachin (22) and Pravin (22), all residents of Jhajjar in Haryana — were arrested on Friday at Sultanpuri in outer Delhi. At their instance, the police arrested the fourth accused, Amit, a resident of Dighal in Jhajjar. The police also seized the looted 57 cartons of mobile phones.
