2 city youth murdered over love affairs

Two men were killed in separate incidents in the city over love affairs.
A 25-year-old man was stabbed to death in Narela, Outer Delhi, for having an affair with a girl. The deceased was identified as Pradeep, a resident of Bankner village. He was stabbed more than 10 times by the accused. The police said that it has identified the main accused as Vishal, alias Vishu, while three others are juveniles.
“Vishal proposed a girl of the same village many times but she spurned his advances each time. Vishal got to know that the girl was having an affair with Pradeep. He decided to eliminate Pradeep and roped in his three juvenile friends in the plan. They called Pradeep to an isolated place in the village and stabbed him to death,” said the police official.
The police has apprehended one juvenile while the other accused are absconding, the official said.
In another incident, a 22-year-old youth was stoned to death in Mayur Vihar area of east Delhi by four persons, including three juveniles. The police has nabbed all the accused involved in the incident. The main accused has been identified as Deepak, alias Raj.
The deceased Ravi, alias Chhotu, worked with a private firm and lived in the area.
“Ravi was having an affair with Raj’s sister. When Raj got to know about their affair he decided to teach Ravi a lesson. On Friday night, Raj and his three juvenile friends called Ravi to discuss the issue. They had an argument following which Raj and his three friends thrashed Ravi. They then stoned him to death an fled,” said the police official.
The police was informed about the body being found following which a team was sent to the spot, the official said.
The body was sent for post-mortem and an FIR was registered.
The police nabbed Deepak, alias Raj, on Saturday morning.
“He broke down and confessed his involvement in the murder. His three juvenile friends have also been nabbed,” said the senior police official.
