2 on bike killed in truck collision
Two motorcycle-borne youth were killed in a collision with a mini truck at Alipur in Outer Delhi on Monday. The victims have been identified as Prashant Tyagi, 18, and Deepak Tyagi, 22, both residents of Wazirabad village, the police said.
“They were heading towards Wazirabad when the accident occurred at around 4.50 am. Their bike collided with a mini-truck as soon as they crossed Bagula bus stand,” a police officer said.
A PCR vehicle rushed Prashant and Deepak to Satyawadi Raja Harish Chandra Hospital, where doctors declared them brought dead.

2 get jail for acid attack

A city court on Monday sentenced two accused to 15 days’ imprisonment, 14 years after they threw acid on a shopkeeper and his employees who objected to their bathing in the balcony and letting water spill onto the floor below.
Additional sessions judge Shail Jain sentenced Old Delhi residents Sudhir Dass and Mathura Dass to simple imprisonment for 15 days after holding them guilty of voluntarily hurting the complainant, Sidharth Santra, and his employees by throwing acid on them.
