2 bangladeshis held for e. delhi robbery-murder
The police has arrested two Bangladeshi robbers for their alleged involvement in a robbery-cum-murder case that took place in Preet Vihar area.
A senior police official said the accused have been identified as Badshah, alias Kabir, and Mohammed Tasleem.
On April 24, the accused had barged into the house of one Sumer Kumar Dutta, retired director of prosecution, Delhi, the police official said.
“They overpowered Dutta, his wife Chandra Prabha and smothered their son Animesh. The accused then fled with cash and jewellery. An FIR of robbery-cum-murder was lodged in this connection,” said the police official.
They then allegedly committed another robbery at the house of Dimple Kohli after holding her and her daughter hostage at gunpoint in Anand Vihar area. Tasleem was the first to be arrested and Badshah was arrested following his interrogation.
