15-yr-old girl kidnapped, raped; 1 held

A 15-year-old girl was kidnapped by three persons from Safdarjung area and taken to Chhatarpur where one of them raped her.

A senior police official said the main accused has been arrested while his accomplices are absconding.
The victim had come to the Safdarjung Hospital to look after her sister who had delivered a baby three days ago.
“She was coming out of the hospital but forgot the way. She met the accused Aris who took her to Chhatarpur. The victim has alleged that Aris raped her while his two friends molested her. They then hired an autorickshaw for her till Safdarjung Hospital,” said the police official.
The victim narrated the incident to her parents who decided to approach the police.
The victim’s medical examination at the hospital proved that she had been raped.
“We booked Aris for raping the victim and his friends under sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. The security guard of the Safdarjung Hospital helped the police nab Aris,” said the police official.
