Yuvraj Singh pokes Kevin Pieterson on Twitter
It seems recovering Yuvraj Singh and his tweetbuddy Kevin Pieterson are in no mood to end their pie-chucking tweets.
Yuvraj, who is in US recovering from a lung tumour, tweeted best of luck to the inform England player Kevin Pieterson. “Peter bhaiya bada mar rahe ho piechuckron ko aaj kal well done!” (sic) (Peter bhaiya you are hitting the pie-chuckers very hard nowadays, well done)”.
KP who recently established his proficiency in Hindi by wishing his fans a happy New Year in Hindi once again chose India’s national language to reply Yuvi.
“Haha! Acha hua ke original piechucker bowling nahi daal raha ! Par ab next time yuvi main teri pies ko bhi sort out kar dunga!” (sic) (Original piechucker is not bowling these days and Yuvi next time I’ll sort out your pies too).
Yuvraj Singh who has shown a tremendous response to his first cycle of chemotherapy was seen busy tweeting on Thursday afternoon.
The Hindi tweets of big hitting part time bowlers soon became the talk of the town. Punam Raut tweeted “@kevinpp24 can u really talk such type of hindi? i am surprised” (sic) while another Indian tweeted “Hi KP tumahri hindi mere jaise he acchi hai (sic) (Your Hindi is better than mine)”
Kevin Pietersen, previously without a one-day international century in three years, led England to a historic whitewash over Pakistan by scoring two centuries in three days.
The ace cricketer duo's pie chucking episode has become a much celebrated duel in the twittersphere from 2008 onwards. KP first called Yuvi pie-chucker a term commonly used in county cricket for a cricketer whose bowling abilities are not that good, and only deliver easy deliveries in 2008 in the tour to India. Indian southpaw had hit back and mocked KP’s fielding abilities.
