Sadda haq blue-eyed boy backs Delhi
Delhi Daredevils may be the rockstars at the moment, given their blistering show this season.
But it was Ranbir Kapoor who donned the Daredevils colours to show who the original rockstar is, at the Kotla on Tuesday.
With hit numbers like Sadda Haq from his movie Rockstar electrifying the atmosphere, Bollywood’s blue-eyed boy hugged Daredevils skipper Virender Sehwag to wish him luck before the match.
Later, he was seen chatting up with Kings XI co-owner Priety Zinta as both the sides had their star power on full display.
Kapoor’s co-start Nargis Fakhri had also turned up the heat at the Kotla last month, sporting the Daredevils’ jersey during their match against the Deccan Chargers.
Daredils fans left high and dry yet again
The Delhi Daredevils sure know how to leave their fans high and dry. On the match eve, the team website broadcasted a video of New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor performing Haka, the traditional dance of the Maoris.
The middle-order batsman taught a bunch of 130-odd volunteers a few steps.
“And what you are going to learn now, I want you all to do during tomorrow’s match,” Taylor said to the crew members in the video.
Though the even website said that the dance may be performed at the Kotla on Tuesday, to the fans dismay it never happened.
