Ponting scores first Test ton in two years

Ricky Ponting scored his first Test century in two years in the second Test against India on Wednesday.

The former Test skipper went for a quick single off Ishant Sharma and dived to make his ground as Zaheer Khan narrowly missed running him out at the bowler's end.

Ponting batted for 245 minutes, faced 150 balls and hit 11 fours in his unbeaten knock.
