Parents want Zaheer to enter wedlock soon

Don't be surprised if Indian bowling spearhead Zaheer Khan enters into a wedlock soon.

The left-arm pacer's parents are determined to end his bachelor status now that their son has achieved his goal of winning the World Cup for the country.

"We wanted him to marry after the last (2007) World Cup but he insisted on the next one. We did not force him since it involved his career. But now the coveted Cup is conquered and he has come out as a top performer with the ball. Now his early marriage is the only dream that tops our agenda," Zaheer's father Bakhtiar Khan told reporters.

A proud father for his son's achievement as the joint-highest wicket taker in the tournament, he said, "He has fulfilled his dream on the cricket field now our dream is to get him into wedlock without further delay as this is the proper age."
