Chennai: New Zealand crushed Kenya by 10 wickets in their World Cup Group A match at the Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Sunday.

Slecting to bat first, Kenya were bowled out for 69 in 23.5 overs against New Zealand in their Group 'A' match of the cricket World Cup here today.

Opener Seren Waters and Rakib Patel were the top scorers of Kenya with 16 each. For New Zealand, Hamish Bennett picked up four for 16 while Jacom Oram and Tim Southee got three each.

Kenya captain Jimmy Kamande won the toss today and had elected to bat against New Zealand in a Group A match of the World Cup at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium.

Kenya: 69 all out in 23.5 overs (Seren Waters 16, Hamish Bennett 4/16, Jacob Oram 3/2, Tim Southee 3/13)

New Zealand: 72/0 in eight overs (Brendon McCullum 26 not out, Martin Guptill 39 not out).
