Mishra bowls YSP School to big win

Sarthak Mehra’s six-wicket haul helped Yuva Shakti Public School, Rohini, beat Mata Jai Kaur School, Ashok Vihar, by 58 runs in a second round match of Group A of the Coca-Cola Cricket Cup u-16 inter-school tournament at the Bal Bhawan Public School ground in Dwarka.

In a Group E match, Yash Sherawat’s all-round performance helped Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, beat St. Sofia School, Paschim Vihar, by five wickets at the Vikaspuri Government School ground.
Batting first, Yuva Shakti PS posted 180 in 35 overs, Abhishek Mishra leading the way with his 56. Mata Jai Kaur School’s Harman Singh and Jasmeet Singh claimed two wickets each.
In reply, MJKS were bowled-out for 122 in 26.4 overs as Mehra’s six-wicket haul rattled their batting.
Scores: YSPS 180 in 35 overs (Abhishek Mishra 56, Mohit Saini 23 not out; Harman Singh 2/25, Jasmeet Singh 2/41) bt MJKS 122 in 26.4 overs (Jagjyot Singh 44, Harman Singh 21; Sarthak Mehra 6/50) by 58 runs; SSS 105 in 23.3 overs (Rudrapratap 27, Raja 20; Apoorv Bisht 3/17, Yash Sherawat 2/13) lost to DPS 108/5 in 23.2 overs (Yash Sherawat 41, Ankur Kaushik 24; Sarthak 2/12) by 5 wkts.
