Kochi gets Aussie Klinger; Sammy unsold

Bengaluru:England's Owais Shah was snapped up for his base price of $200,000 by Team Kochi, who also bought Australian Michael Klinger for $75,000.

Ryan Ten Doeschate of the Netherlands was a surprise pick by Kolkata Knight Riders for $150,000 for three times his base price.

West Indies captain Darren Sammy with a base price of $100,000 was left unsold and so was New Zealand's Aaron Redmond.

However, his compatriot Jonathan Trott, starting with a reserve price of $200,000, was not taken by any of the franchisees.

The other unsold players from the batsmen group were: South Africans Jacques Rudolph and Neil McKenzie, New Zealand's Lou Vincent and Martin Guptill, Australia's Simon Katich, West Indies Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Sri Lankan Jehan Mubarak.
