India opt to field against WI in 1st ODI
India's stand-in captain Virender Sehwag won the toss and elected to field against the West Indies in the first One-Day International here on Tuesday.
Parthiv Patel will keep wickets in place of regular skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who has been rested for the first three ODIs, while Rohit Sharma also makes his way in the playing eleven.
India have opted for a pace heavy bowling attack in the form of Varun Aaron, Umesh Yadav and R Vinay Kumar, while R Ashwin remains the lone spinner in the team.
West Indies, meanwhile, have rested pacer Ravi Rampaul for the match.
