India won the toss and elected to bat against England at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Sunday.

England suffered a blow just before the match as their seamer Stuart Broad was ruled out of the blockbuster World Cup clash after being confined to bed for two days.

"Good luck lads, gutted I'm not there. Will be watching from the bed I've not left for 2 days. Never felt worse," Broad wrote on his Twitter account.

Broad missed practice on Saturday because of stomach trouble.
