I was victim of politics, says Shane Bond
Wellington, Oct. 27: Former New Zealand pacer Shane Bond said that he became a “victim of politics” after joining the ICL but he has no regret about playing in the ‘rebel’ twenty20 event. In his autobiography, Looking back, Bond said NZC allowed him to participate in the league but backed out. “What I’ll never understand is why it had to be one or the other, ICL or playing for the country,” he said.
