Big win for Mt Abu School

Four wickets each from Vikas Jha and Shantanu helped Mount Abu Public School beat Vikas Bharti Public School, Rohini, by seven wickets in a Group C league match in the Coca-Cola Cricket Cup Under-16 inter-school tournament at the Parmarth Mission Hospital grounds in the capital on Saturday.

Batting first, Vikas Bharti Public School were bowled out for 71 in 18.5 overs as Jha and Shantanu ran through the batting line-up.
In reply, Mt Abu Public School successfully chased the target in 13.2 overs, for the loss of three wickets. Sonu Sharma was the top-scorer with 27.
In a Group E league match, Vidya Jain Public School thrashed Air Force Bal Bharti, Lodhi Road by 122 runs.
Vidya Jain Public School won the toss and opted to bat. Vasu Sharma (68) and Paras (46) helped Vidya Jain raise 186/5 in 35 overs. Udit Goyal and Apurv took two wickets each for Bal Bharti.
In reply, Air Force Bal Bharti skittled out for a mere 64 in 35 overs.
