Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who was earlier scheduled to fly home from Brasilia via Frankfurt, has changed his travel plans due to the disruption in northern Europe caused by the volcanic ash eruption.

His special Air India aircraft will now overfly Africa, making a stopover in Johannesburg, and is expected to reach New Delhi on Saturday afternoon.
