Networking to reach new heights

I  belong to Ferozepur Cantt. Punjab, but when I came to Delhi and joined the Amity School of Engineering, I found that most of the people in the city are hooked on to social networking websites. Soon. even I got addicted to these sites, as they are a great way to stay connected with friends.

Even though I am a computer applications student, I am not a hardcore programmer. Still, I thought of making some innovation in this field, and started work on it. It took me two years to come up with a project based on a content management system, Drupal, through which even a layman, who doesn’t know much about networking and computer applications can create a networking site.
Finally, my project was selected to be presented at a national conference sponsored by CSIR, Udaipur. There, I demonstrated how through this invention, everyone can create a social networking website as it doesn’t involve much coding. I named my upcoming project “Agya”, after my late grandmother.
Also, I want to encourage youngsters to serve the country by joining the armed forces. And my project is aimed at that. I would like to give credit for my achievement to my dad and my teachers for their motivation.
