J&K: Grenade attack kills CRPF jawan

Srinagar, March 14: In the third strike in the city in a week, militants  attacked a CRPF patrol near a police station in central Srinagar, killing a jawan and injuring five others.

Unidentified militants hurled a grenade at a group of CRPF personnel at Pather Masjid at 3.15 pm Sunday. Constable Mohan Lal, who was among the injured, later succumbed in a hospital, official sources said.    —PTI
