‘I wanted to have a back-up plan’

I did my graduation from Kirori Mal College in commerce. I was not a very bright student and was an average scorer in college. However, I always knew that I wanted to become an actor.

But I wanted to have a back-up plan ready in case acting didn’t happen, so I made sure that I had something to fall back on, so I did an MBA later. And I was able to manage it pretty well.

During college, my days normally began after college hours. I used to stay back with my drama team and rehearse till late. I loved doing everything for the drama group, whether it was organising music for the play or looking into the production aspects of it.

I participated in a lot of college activities. I was good in acting and singing. Participating in activities was also a good reason to miss lectures. But I still made it a point to complete my MBA with flying colours. And in totality I think I have always been a package, a "good student".
