Shiv Das Meena, other IAS officers shunted out

The state government on Monday effected a minor shuffle of IAS officers including transfer of Shiv Das Meena, secretary, special programme implementation department, as commissioner of commercial taxes.

According to an official press release, Hemant Kumar Sinha, principal secretary/commissioner of commercial taxes, will now be the new director, Anna Institute of Management and Director General of Training. Dr J. Radhakrishnan, on return from deputation, will be the new secretary to government, special programme implementation department.

Former Collector of Dindigul, K Nagarajan, has been posted as deputy secretary to government, social welfare and nutritious meal programme department.

Former Kanchipuram collector S. Sivashanmugaraja has been transferred as deputy secretary, backward classes, most backward classes and minority welfare department.

L Sitherasenan, sub-collector, Tiruvallur, has been transferred as additional director of agriculture. D. Jagannathan, sub-collector, Ranipet, has been transferred as joint commissioner, municipal administration.

Finance department special secretary P. Senthilkumar will be the new transport commissioner. Tahdco managing director Vijayarajkumar will be the new additional commissioner (revenue and finance) for Chennai corporation and A. Suganthi, deputy secretary, social welfare and nutritious meal programme, will be the new managing director of Tahdco.

Principal secretary/commissioner of land administration Swaran Singh has been transferred as chairman and managing director of Sipcot. Dr K Gopal, former secretary, social welfare and nutritious meal programme will be the new managing director of Tamil Nadu Text Book Corporation Ltd.
