Salesgirl killed in popular city garment store

A 19-year-old salesgirl was allegedly murdered by her colleague inside a well-known readymade garments shop in Tirumangalam.

Muruganandam, 23, slashed the neck of K. Bhavana, was a resident of MG Nagar on Padi Kuppam Road, with a scissors and then tried to commit suicide by slashing his own neck at 5.30 pm, shocking the customers.

The police, after the initial inquires with employees of Waves, where the two were working, said that Murganandam, who stayed in the same area as the girl, was frustrated because the girl had started avoiding her after many months of courtship.
