Rain to hit coastal areas
With the well-marked low pressure weakening in the Bay of Bengal, most places in the north coastal districts of Tamil Nadu would receive rainfall on Friday.
Weathermen have said that scattered rainfall is predicted for other districts.’
“We can expect isolated rainfall for the next one or two days. In certain areas, the rainfall would also be heavy,” said Area Cyclone Warning Centre director S.R. Ramanan.

“At present, there is no significant weather system over Bay of Bengal. We will wait and see the development,” said Ramanan.
