Tamil Nadu chief minister J. Jayalalithaa has parried questions on whether the AIADMK would support finance minister Pranab Mukherjee for Presidency, saying the party has not yet been approached by anybody

“No concrete proposal” has been put forward by anybody to her party on the candidate for Presidential polls, scheduled to be held in July, she said talking to reporters at the Tamil Nadu House in New Delhi.

“The AIADMK has not yet finalised its stand or strategy with regard to Presidential elections. And no concrete proposal has been brought to us so far by anybody,” she said.

On the Koodankulam power project, she said it would go critical in the next 10 days and power generation would begin.
