Medical counselling postponed
Tamil Nadu MBBS counselling scheduled to be held on July 2 has been postponed by three days and will be conducted on July 5.
According to the directorate of medical education officials, as the sale of MBBS applications have been remarkably high, the date of submission of forms has been shifted from June 2 to June 6.
“As the date of submission has been postponed, all the other procedures have been delayed by three days as well. The first phase of counselling will be held on July 5,” said the official.
Meanwhile, Anna University vice-chancellor Prof. P. Mannar Jawahar on Thursday said as medical counselling has been postponed by three days, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) also might get delayed.
“We will be convening the coordination committee which has officials from the directorate of government examination, Anna University and directororate of technical education, after two or three days.
After the coordination commitee meeting, we will announce the revised schedule”, he said.
