Ex-girlfriend leaks conversation with IPS trainee officer

Ms Priyadarshini on Friday released the telephonic conversation that is supposed to have taken place between her and her ex-boyfriend Varun Kumar, an IPS trainee officer, to the media.

The National Commission for Women had asked Chennai police to file an action taken report on a complaint by Priyadarshini regarding alleged dowry demands, refusal to marry her, criminal breach of trust, threat to her life and hacking of her email by Varun Kumar.

The police, after having dragged the case for some time, registered an FIR against Varun Kumar in April based on a court order.

In the new audio CD released by Priyadarshini, her former boyfriend says nobody from Tamil Nadu has achieved such good IPS ranking like him in civil service examinations. He also says he is the future DGP of Tamil Nadu.

Varun Kumar also takes a dig at politicians and says even the post of mayor is not a big deal.

He talks about a woman IPS officer and says marriage in the IPS circle is a different ball game. Finally, he advises Priyadarshini to die.
