Pakistan foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khar on Thursday paid obeisance at the dargah of famous Sufi saint Nizamuddin Auliya here and prayed for peace between the two countries.

Pakistan foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khar on Wednesday said she had come to India with a positive outlook and the relationship between the two countries should not be held hostage to the past.

The minister-level talks between India and Pakistan were held here on Wednesday against the backdrop of India being clearly unhappy with new Pakistan foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khar holding meeting with Kashmiri separatist leaders ahead of parleys with S.M. Krishna.

India’s foreign minister S.M. Krishna said on Wednesday that relations with Pakistan were “on the right track” after talks with his Pakistani counterpart Hina Rabbani Khar in New Delhi.

India and Pakistan on Wednesday announced additional confidence building measures related to Kashmir, including increasing cross-LoC trading days and expanding travel to include tourism and religious aspects.
