The Supreme Court on Monday appointed a high-level Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by former apex court judge B.P. Jeevan Reddy to monitor the investigation and the steps being taken to bring back black money stashed away in foreign banks.

The Central Informatiom Commission has rapped the Cabinet serctariat for not providing details of black money deposited in Swiss banks to an information seeker and asked it to take "more pains" in dealing with RTI applications in such specific cases.
