BJP assures Andhra team on T-issue
The BJP on Tuesday assured a delegation of its leaders from Andhra Pradesh that it will raise the issue of a separate Telangana state in the Monsoon Session of Parliament, even as Union home minister P. Chidambaram said that political parties in Andhra Pradesh must help the Centre find a solution to the issue. Mr Chidambaram told news agencies that political parties are divided on the issue and a solution cannot be “thrust down their throats”.
