26 lakhs looted at petrol pump
Unidentified armed robbers struck at a petrol pump at Sector-35 in Noida, escaping with Rs 26 lakh after tying up and gagging the cashier and two others on Monday.
According to the Noida police, five men armed with guns and iron rods barged into the first floor office of Bharat Petroleum pump, located in Sector-35, around 7.30 am and rounded up the cashier.
‘No other officers summoned’
Even as the National Investigation Agency (NIA) probes the alleged transfer of information —— from the computer of an Indian Army Major posted in the Andamans ——- to a computer in Pakistan, the Indian Army on Monday sought to dismiss speculation that a few senior Army officers were likely to face questioning by the NIA in the case. “No other Army officers have been summoned for questioning by the NIA,” senior Army sources said on Monday.
