Mercury at 15ºC, Met predicts rain
The chill in the capital continued to be on the rise with the minimum temperature on Thursday being recorded at 15 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature, recorded at 30.2º Celsius, is likely to come down further in the next couple of days. The chill factor in the outer areas of the city and some localities in the districts around Delhi was higher than that of the main city areas.
Man stabbed to death in E. Delhi
A young man was killed and his friend seriously injured when they intervened in a fight between four other men. The incident was reported at Shakarpur in east Delhi on Wednesday night. Three persons have been arrested in this connection.

Obama, Michelle will visit Humayun’s tomb
After he lands in New Delhi on November 7, US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama will be visiting Humayun’s Tomb, the 450-year-old monument which is also a world heritage site. While the tomb has itself been restored in July and August this year and has been fully illuminated, the Archaeological Survey of India said that no special preparations were being planned for the occasion.
