Google glass hacked even before launch
London: Google’s Glass wearable computer has been hacked, which means now video and audio can be transmitted online to anyone. Hackers are now able to remotely watch and hear everything a wearer does.
“Nothing is safe once your Glass has been hacked, wrote programmer Jay ‘saurik’ Freeman, known for developed hack to bypass security on iPhones and Android handsets, on Thursday.
Although Glass does not go for sale until next year, the attack raises major security and privacy questions over Google’s plans for the device.
“Once the attacker has root on Glass, they have much more power than if they had access to one’s phone or computer,” he added. “A bugged Glass watches everything one is looking at,” he added.
