European stocks advance at open; London adds 0.67%
European stocks rose in opening deals on Tuesday as London investors returned from a three-day holiday weekend.
The British capital's benchmark FTSE 100 index of top shares added 0.67 per cent to 5,978.35 points, following a bank holiday the previous day.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 gained 1.11 per cent at 7,240.12 points and in Paris the CAC 40 won 0.64 per cent to 3,967.63 points. Both markets had finished slightly lower in subdued trade on Monday.
