Why Shirish won’t see Shirin-Farhad

They may not look like Mr and Mrs Perfect, but close friends of Shirish Kunder and Farah Khan will attest that they’re actually quite “in sync”. Up to this point, there’s been no reason to believe that the couple is anything but super-duper supportive of each other. But now we hear that there may be a tiny controversy in the Kunder-Khan household: Apparently, Shirish has refused to watch Farah in her upcoming film, Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi. The reason: He doesn’t want to watch his wife run around trees with another man.
“I tried my best to make him understand that there are no mushy scenes between Boman (Irani) and me. It’s just a situational romance,” Farah says. But Shirish has reportedly refused to budge from his stand. Apparently, the other man in Farah’s life — her son Czar — is also none too happy about his mum’s first appearance as a leading lady. “He told me that I look like an air hostess in the promos and that the film doesn’t excite him!” says Farah. A case of like father, like son?
