‘Was out of sight, out of mind’
Fitness Mantra
My fitness regime is very simple. I work out in the gym four days a week, practise kickboxing and walk on the treadmill. Yes, I do watch my eating habits, but never endorse crash diets or strict eating timetables. Besides, I drink a lot of water and karela juice. Every once in a while, I also take to liquid diets that consist of healthy fruit and vegetable juices.
Style statement
I love wearing vintage clothes that lend a sleek, structured look — especially belonging to the 60s and 70s era. My wardrobe has about twenty or more white shirts — all in different styles and cuts. My all-time favourite look is a simple white shirt teamed with blue jeans. I have a fetish for shoes too.
Only Regret
I regret going into a shell after my very first film. Out of sight led to being out of mind for the audience and most filmmakers. Stardom is very short-lived and changes every Friday. I was away from films for almost four years and learnt it the hard way. However, I am enjoying my second stint at Bollywood and realise that it takes a lot of time and dedication to maintain one’s star status and position in the industry. It means a lot of hard work and very less family time. But I am a little more prepared for it this time around.
Working with John Abraham
I’ve worked with John earlier in Desi Boyz. I, Me Aur Main is my second film with him. He is a simple Parsi boy. Working with him was very comfortable, almost like a picnic of sorts!
Life philosophy
I prioritise my needs. Life is full of challenges and if you face it head on, you are sure to be successful.
