Vipul appoints Akshay as action guru

While Akshay Kumar has dabbled in all genres, his expertise in action films is considered undisputed. That’s the reason why filmmaker Vipul Shah has sought his expertise on the sequel of his film Commando, according to industry insiders. Akshay has delivered a number of hits with Vipul and now it is time to return the favour.

After the Vidyut Jamwal-starrer Commando did decent business at the box office, Vipul lost no time in announcing its sequel. And now he has requested good friend Akshay, who he had worked with in Namastey London, to supervise the action scenes in Commando 2.
“No one understands and does action better than Akshay Kumar. He is a pro and filming the crucial scenes under his supervision will certainly help,” says a member of Vipul’s team. And contrary to speculations, Akki won’t be acting in the film. Akshay has the reputation of going out of his way to help his friends. And his equation with Vipul is so strong that turning him down was out of question. “Akshay is trained in martial arts and his knowledge will help Vidyut and Vipul come up with the most unique and daredevil stunts. The shooting of the film will commence as soon as Akshay’s available,” the source adds.
