Tusshar the new head of the family

While Big B still calls the shots in major family events and pujas, his colleague Jeetendra has decided to pass on the legacy to his son Tusshar Kapoor. After 35 years of performing the Ganpati puja himself, Jeetendra gifted his son the traditional family jewellery he used to wear while performing the aarti.

“The first puja has to be performed by the head of the family. This year my father has honoured me by giving me the responsibility,” says the Golmaal actor. Tusshar continues, “I am very happy, I’ve promised my parents to perform the puja with riddhi-siddhi.” While Tusshar has already been assigned the formal position of the head of the family, Abhishek and Aishwarya still continue to wait for the day when they will be entrusted with such a huge responsibility.
