Trisha to star with Prateik

While Gautam Menon’s Khakha Khakha is all set to be remade by some other director, Gautam himself is all set to remake his Tamil film Vinaaithandi Varuvaaya in Hindi and has signed Khatta Meetha fame actress Trisha in the lead role. Prateik will be playing the male lead.
Our source said, “Gautam has wanted to make a Hindi film for a long time now. After he made Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein nothing has worked out for him. He was to remake Khakha Khakha in Hindi but it didn’t work out and Nishikant Kamath is directing it now for Vipul Shah. So, Gautam is making the Hindi version of his own Tamil film Vinaaithandi Varuvaaya and has signed Trisha and Prateik for the lead roles. Incidentally Trisha has just made her debut in Bollywood with Khatta Meetha and this will be her second film. She was also a part of the original Tamil version.”
