It’s raining Khans at Yash Raj Films, and each one will be more eagerly awaited than the other! While Aamir will be seen in a negative role in Dhoom 3, Salman reunites with Katrina for Ek Tha Tiger and news is just filtering through that Shah Rukh Khan could also be a part of a Shimit Amin directed venture from the YRF stable.
Amin, who earlier directed SRK in Chak De India, is planning to recreate the same magic with a love story this time. He is currently scripting a large scale venture and should be meeting Shah Rukh soon. The project will go ahead once King Khan gives his confirmation.
But much before that will come Ek Tha Tiger, slotted for a release in mid-2012. To be directed by Kabir Khan, the shooting begins in early July and pits the former lovebirds opposite each other after a long time.
Dhoom 3 will be releasing during Aamir’s preferred Christmas slot. Vijay Krishna Acharya, aka Victor, has written and directed the film, the shooting for which will begin at the end of the year. And going by the franchise’s track record, Aamir will have to gear up for some high octane action.
While YRF has been a home ground of sorts for Shah Rukh, it will be for the first time that Aamir and Salman are appearing here.
