Sunny plays big daddy on the sets
While the rest of the starkids are busy finding a foothold in films directly, Karan (Rocky) Deol is as an exception. Sunny Deol’s son is taking it slow and steady by learning the ropes of filmmaking first. Word is that Karan is assisting Deol’s next big release, Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 in the UK.
And though the shy son refuses to talk about the little crash course in UK, sources close to the Deol clan and the film, say that he is a down-to-earth, sincere lad and insist, that he will make for a good actor, whenever he debuts.
The Deols are at present, shooting a crucial scene for the film.
It’s where Dharam (played by Dharam paji) and Gajodhar (Bobby Deol) land in UK and to their surprise, find that Paramveer (Sunny Deol) is a nightclub manager. From there on, unfolds a series of hard core conning by the father-son duo and a comedy of errors, comprising of mistaken identities, weddings, kidnapping and mafia wars.
From what we hear, Karan hit the clapboard for the introductory scene. Sunny, who is taking time to launch his son in Bollywood, says he’s in no hurry to push his son into the acting arena. “I want my son to learn everything about making a film. I am happy that he is leaving no stone unturned to pick up the nuances of filmmaking. I don’t want him to repeat my mistakes.”
