Sunny days as Deol lands double role

Sunny Deol will be making his big screen comeback after a gap of more than two years with the upcoming Bhaiyyaji Superhit, which goes on the floors from next week, but fans of Sunny paaji will have their fun doubled. The latest buzz about the film is that it will feature Sunny in a double role. “While one Sunny will be playing a Punjabi from Canada who wants to become an actor, the other plays a bhaiyya gangster from UP who wants a film to be made on his own life,” reveals a close associate of the actor.
Unlike Sunny’s staple action flicks, Bhaiyyaji Superhit is also a comic caper, and will have Sunny playing a character his own age. “It is an interesting role and very out of the box, especially considering it will be played by an actor like Sunny who comes with a certain image,” says director Neeraj Pathak, who had earlier worked with the actor in Right Yaa Wrong, adding that beyond this much, it’s not possible for him to reveal further.
