SRK snubs Sonakshi

A superstar giving a much younger colleague the cold shoulder isn’t unheard of in B’town, but boy were we surprised when the super chivalrous Shah Rukh Khan snubbed Sonakshi Sinha at an awards event.
Now how the story unfolds is that Sona was to present an award to SRK at the ceremony. Apparently, he wasn’t too happy about having to take the award from Sona. And when he took the microphone to make his acceptance speech, a slight fumble on his part nearly led to it falling on the stage floor.
“Sona offered to help him hold the microphone, but it didn’t go down well with SRK. He twisted her gesture and made a snide remark about needing Sonakshi’s help at this stage in his career,” said a source from the organisers’ team.
A befuddled Sona didn’t exactly know how to react to SRK’s acerbic remark. “She’s much younger to SRK, and intimidating her is not something expected from an actor of SRK’s stature,” our source added. But was SRK hitting out at Sona or the camp she belongs to?
