Sonam dreams of love

Sonam Kapoor says the character that she plays in I Hate Luv Storys — a diehard romantic — is quite similar to the way she is in real life as well. And like most girls, Sonam says she too dreams of meeting the ideal guy. “Someone like Leonardo Di Caprio,” the actress laughs. And what about his Bollywood counterparts? Sonam promptly declares that she is single and not dating anyone as of now. “There’s no one. I am too young and having a lot of fun,” she says.

For now, Sonam is content with the vicarious pleasure of watching romantic films. “I adore films like Mugal-E-Azam, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge and A Walk in the Clouds,” enthuses Sonam, admitting that the last is a cheesy, but beautiful, film.
That does not mean that Sonam does not appreciate the more serious things in life. “I respect responsible journalism,” says Sonam. “I wanted to be a writer at one point of time.”
