Son Adi steps in to help his father

Yash Chopra has been touted the king of romance for several decades now. So as his upcoming directorial venture Jab Tak Hai Jaan is peeling its layers off one by one, expectations are piling up by the minute.

The buzz is that the Chopra patriarch has asked his son Aditya to shoot the last song of the film. So the latter will soon be flying to Switzerland and do the needful.
“The film is entirely Yashji’s baby. But Adi has been asked to shoot the song to give it a younger feel,” say sources at YRF.
Aditya hasn’t directed a film since Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, so for him this is indeed a huge opportunity to contribute to his father’s work. “When you direct a film, you translate your vision on screen. But to direct a song for someone else’s film is a task. And it’s even more tough when the director in question is Yash Chopra and tougher that he is your father,” the sources add.
The song that will be filmed on Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif, is one of the most awaited tracks of the year. It’s being touted as A.R. Rahman and Gulzaar’s best work till date.
